General Surgery and Endoscopy

Fairfield Hospital has four operating theatres and hosts a number of general surgeons performing emergency, elective and short stay procedures.

Endoscopic procedures are performed by general surgeons in the main theatre complex on routine theatre lists as required.

Pre-Admission Clinic

Our pre-admission clinic allows us to work as a team to help streamline your admission for surgery. At your pre-admission visit you will be reviewed by our clinical staff and be provided with vital information of what you need to do and what to expect before and after your surgery.

Our pre-admission clinic is located on level 2 and is open Monday to Friday [7:00am - 3:30pm], should you require further information please contact our friendly staff on 9616-8183 or 9616-8184.

Discharge Planning

Fairfield Hospital provides a free discharge planning service for all inpatients. Our discharge planner works with other health professionals in the hospital to help organise services you may need once you have been discharged
